• Hi, There! My name is Amanda and I'm a Brisbane wedding photographer
who likes to take pictures of rockin' celebrations of love!

I'm a big fan of avocados, NBC's Community, wasting time on IMDB, Derren Brown,
musical theatre, the colour yellow, and animals.

My photography is named after my grandparents, Bruce and Susie. They have a rather lovely story
that I'd love for you to hear. It's a big reason why I do what I do.

Check out some of my recent shoots below! If you like what you see, why not get in touch
and tell me all about your fabulous wedding day? I can't wait to hear from you!

Amy and Blake – Married! | Laidley Wedding

Amy and Blake were married on a beautiful (hot!) March day in Laidley, Queensland. The boys spent the morning getting ready at Spicers Hidden Vale (incredibly beautiful I must say) while Amy and her pretty ladies were waiting for them at Branell Homestead.

Amy wore a most unique gown from designer Collette Dinnigan. The girls did all the reception decorating themselves (hats off to them!) and the beautiful cake was made by the ever-lovely Gillian Bell.

Eye Spy – Amy and Blake at Branell Homestead, Laidley

Amy and Blake were married on the weekend. Blake kept talking about how Amy will be featured in all the magazines, because she’s so beautiful.

Nothing makes me happier than a groom who finds so much joy in his bride. You really get a sense of what a great husband he’s going to make. :)

Here’s a sneaky of Amy and Blake! More to come very soon.

Venue: Branell Homestead
Bride’s dress: Collette Dinnigan

Kelly and Mark – Engage!

Kelly and Mark are planning a gorgeous wedding over in their home country, Canada, for next year, but before the fantastic madness of that beings (planning a wedding from another country! Amazing!), they decided that some engagement photographs were in order. So they contacted me. :) And I’m glad they did!

Mark is a teacher so they wanted to start off their engagement shoot by having some photographs taken at the Greenslopes Primary School, in front of the beautiful mural painted there. After that, we headed to the beach!

The Herd Family | Portraits

It had been almost 10 years since the last time that the Herd family all got together for family portraits. It’s hard when everyone is so busy living their lives in different places and doing different things! So it was decided that it was high-time for another family get-together of the snappy variety. Ian Herd, the patriarch of this family, is an accomplished photographer himself so these guys know the drill when it comes to photographs. Which made my job a breeze, I must say!
